In this case to announce any off-normal conditions in our well known and proven line of Magnetic Level Switches, model LSV-1620 (Vertical) and LSH-1620 (Horizontal).
Starting now, all these instruments can be equipped with a new local light indication that with its three bright colors (green, yellow and red) can be used to show the operative status of any level switch.
This optional is specially intended to be used in large batch plants where the field operator, at first glance, needs to know the filling (or alarm) state of the different vessels.
In a typical application, this new beacon may be used in a double point level switch (ie.: High + High-High). With a low level condition the light would be green, if a high level is reached the light would switch to yellow and if the high-high level threshold is exceeded the beacon will turn to red.
In the same way (but only with two colors), this new device can also be used in level switches with only one alarm or control point.
This signal light has a very refined design and all its plastic parts are made of UV resistant Polycarbonate. It is highly visible, even under direct sunlight. It also includes a special flashing state to show any malfunction of the instrument.
This new optional is available with all our Magnetic Level Switches fitted with the ee-FLEX DN 60 enclosure.
This signalizing electronic unit is one of the basic building blocks that will be included in our new line of Redundant Level Switches that will be available in the second half of 2013.
